Text
Any person who wilfully deposits material in any watercourse where it will naturally be carried to the land of another to his injury shall pay to the party injured thereby double damages and costs, unless, within a reasonable time after notice of the injury, he removes such material from such land. See Sec. 7-147 re municipalities' power to prohibit obstructions in waterways.
