Text

(a)The Commissioner of Public Health shall develop and implement a plan in circumstances where the Governor declares a state of emergency to mobilize state emergency medical service assets to aid areas where local emergency medical services and ordinary mutual aid resources are overwhelmed. Such plan shall be known as the Forward Movement of Patients Plan. Such plan shall include, but not be limited to, a procedure for the request of resources, authority for plan activation, the typing of resources, resource command and control and logistical considerations.
(b)Emergency rates established by the commissioner for certified emergency medical service, paramedic intercept service, invalid coach and temporary transportation needs for a specified event or incident shall apply when the emergenc
