Text
On or before July 1, 2004, the Department of Social Services shall, within the limits of available Medicaid funding, implement a pilot project in Greater Hartford with a chronic disease hospital colocated with a skilled nursing facility and with the facilities, medical staff and all necessary personnel for the diagnosis, care and treatment of chronic or geriatric mental conditions that require prolonged hospital or restorative care. For purposes of this section, “chronic disease hospital” has the same meaning as provided in section 19a-490.
