Text
The Commissioner of Social Services may modify the state medical assistance durable medical equipment, medical surgical supply, oxygen, orthotic and prosthetic devices and hearing aid fee schedules, applicable regulations, policies and procedures or purchase of service contracts to achieve any expenditure reductions adopted under public act 03-1 of the June 30 special session*. In the event that such modifications require revisions to any existing state regulations, the commissioner may make such modifications while in the process of adopting the modifications in regulation form provided the commissioner publishes notice of any modifications of regulations in the Connecticut Law Journal within twenty days of implementation of such modifications.
