Text
The Commissioner of Social Services, in administering the state medical assistance program, may offset any federal funding reductions for providers or recipients of services described in 42 USC 1396d(a)(4)(C), provided (1) the General Assembly approves such use of state funds in a vote scheduled not later than ninety days following notice of such federal funding reduction by the commissioner, (2) such services are otherwise covered by the medical assistance program, and (3) providers otherwise meet the requirements of the Department of Social Services for participation and enrollment in the medical assistance program.
