All bills for services provided to Medicaid recipients by state humane institutions, as defined in section 17b-222, may be paid by the Commissioner of Social Services to the state agency that provided the services or oversees the operation of the institution that provided the services.

Sess. P.A. 10-1 replaced reference to support of inmates in state hospitals with reference to services provided to Medicaid recipients by state humane institutions, and replaced requirement that bills be paid to Commissioner of Administrative Services with requirement that bills be paid by Commissioner of Social Services to state agency that provided or oversees institution that provided services, effective July 1, 2010.
