Text

Any corporation organized under the laws of this state or of any other state of the United States for the purposes of constructing or operating a natural gas pipeline, which corporation holds a certificate of public convenience and necessity issued under the provisions of the federal Natural Gas Act, authorizing such corporation to construct or operate a natural gas pipeline or pipelines and appurtenant facilities within the state, shall be subject to the authority of the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority in respect to its pipeline, equipment and manner of operation as they relate to the safety of the public and of the employees of said corporation in the same manner as are Connecticut public service companies, provided the authority of the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority shall n
