Text

If an owner fails to (1) pay the fine and any additional fee imposed for a violation or conviction of section 13a-263, (2) submit a plea of not guilty by the answer date, or (3) appear for any scheduled court appearance at the time and place assigned, the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles may refuse to register or suspend the registration of the motor vehicle operated at the time of such violation.
