The commissioner may connect the bridle paths established along the Merritt Parkway under the provisions of section 13a-141 and may defray the expenses of making such connections at a cost not to exceed two thousand dollars. See Sec. 13a-153 re state liability for bridle paths and injuries incurring on them.
