§ 10a-55d — Definitions.

For purposes of sections 10a-55e to 10a-55h, inclusive, and 10a-80c:

(1)“Green technology” means technology that (A) promotes clean energy, renewable energy or energy efficiency, (B) reduces greenhouse gases or carbon emissions, or (C) involves the invention, design and application of chemical products and processes to eliminate the use and generation of hazardous substances; and (2) “Green jobs” means jobs in which green technology is employed and may include the occupation codes identified as green jobs by the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics and any codes identified as green jobs by the Labor Department and the Department of Economic and Community Development.
