The Board of Trustees of The University of Connecticut is authorized to contract with the Capital Area Health Consortium for the hospital of The University of Connecticut Health Center to become a member of said consortium. Said board may enter into such long term contracts and other agreements as will further the purposes of the consortium as contained in said consortium's certificate of incorporation. See chapter 187c re John Dempsey Hospital Finance Corporation.
