Each registrant required to file any financial reports under section 1-96 shall do so in electronic form using the software created by the Office of State Ethics for that purpose or another software program which meets specifications prescribed by the Office of State Ethics.

(a) requiring the State Ethics Commission by July 1, 1998, to create a software program for the preparation of financial reports required by Sec. 1-96, and provide training in its use, and to prescribe specifications for other software programs created by vendors for such purpose, and made technical changes in the remaining provision; P.A. 05-183 replaced “commission” with “Office of State Ethics” throughout the section, effective July 1, 2005.
