(1)(a)
The commission may revoke a license granted pursuant to this article 30 for any
cause that would have prevented issuance of the license, including the causes set
forth in sections 44-30-509 and 44-30-801.
(b)The commission may suspend or revoke a license granted pursuant to
this article 30 for a violation by the licensee or an officer, director, agent, member,
or employee of the licensee, after notice to the licensee, the opportunity for a
hearing, and upon proof by a preponderance of the evidence as determined by the
commission. Violations that may warrant license suspension or revocation include
violations of this article 30, any rule promulgated by the commission, any provision
of article 33 of this title 44, or any rule promulgated by the executive director
