Text

(1)A lodging facility license may be issued to a lodging facility that sells alcohol beverages by the drink only to customers for consumption on the licensed premises. A lodging facility's licensed premises does not include the facility's sleeping rooms. A lodging facility licensee shall not permit alcohol beverages to be purchased in a sleeping room, serve or deliver alcohol beverages to a sleeping room, or allow a minibar, as defined in section 44-3-413 (4)(b), in a sleeping room.
(2)(a) A lodging facility licensed to sell alcohol beverages as provided in this section shall purchase alcohol beverages only from a wholesaler licensed pursuant to this article 3; except that, during a calendar year, a lodging facility licensed to sell alcohol beverages as provided in this section
