Text
(1)The attorney
general shall represent the board, director, and executive director and shall give
opinions on questions of law relating to the interpretation of this part 4 or arising
out of the administration thereof and shall appear for and on behalf of the board,
director, and executive director in all actions brought by or against them, whether
under this part 4 or otherwise.
(2)The board may request the attorney general to make civil investigations
and enforce rules of the board in cases of civil violations and to bring and defend
civil suits and proceedings for any of the purposes necessary and proper for
carrying out the functions of the board.
