Text
(1)Unless the presence of
special equipment was a prior condition for sale within Colorado at the time an
historic or special interest vehicle was manufactured for first use, the presence of
such equipment or device is not required as a condition for current legal use.
(2)Any safety device or safety equipment that was manufactured for and
installed on a motor vehicle as original equipment must be in proper operating
condition when the vehicle is operated on or for highway purposes.
