Text

(1)No sooner than fifteen business days following a public auction but no later than five business days following a treasurer's receipt of redemption money paid under section 39-11.5-111, the treasurer shall execute and record in each county where the property or a portion thereof is located a certificate of redemption containing:
(a)The name of the lawful holder;
(b)The name and address of the person redeeming;
(c)The redemption amount paid;
(d)The date of sale;
(e)The description of the property redeemed; and
(f)The treasurer's sale number.
(2)The treasurer shall retain the recorded certificate of redemption in the treasurer's records.
(3)The failure of the treasurer to comply with the provisions of this section does not affect the validity of the sale or the right
