Text
(1)A recall petition
shall not be circulated or filed and no pending recall proceedings may be continued
against any officer until the officer has actually held the office for at least six
months following the officer's election or reelection, or six months following the
assumption of office by an appointed official.
(2)After one recall petition and election, no further petition shall be filed
against the same officer during the term for which he or she was elected or
appointed unless the petitioners signing said petition equal fifty percent of all
ballots cast for that office at the last preceding regular election.
(3)A recall petition may not be circulated or filed against an elected officer
whose office is up for election within six months.
