Text
The salary or compensation of
officers and employees shall be established by ordinance, which shall provide
uniform compensation for like services. Such schedules of compensation may fix
the minimum and maximum for any grade. An increase in compensation, within the
limits provided for the grade, may be granted at any time by the city manager or
other appointing authority upon the basis of efficiency and seniority.
