Text
If any city adopts
a charter pursuant to the provisions of article XX of the state constitution, the term
of office of every officer of such city who has been elected or appointed pursuant
to the general laws of this state or under the ordinances of such city shall terminate
immediately upon the election and qualification of the elective officers provided for
by such charter.
