Text
(1)The attorney for a municipality or
district shall:
(a)When required by the board, advise the board on all matters pertaining to
the board's duties and management of the fund;
(b)Represent and defend the board in any suit or action at law or in equity
brought against the board; and
(c)Bring all suits and actions on the board's behalf as the board requires or
requests.
(2)If a conflict between a board and a municipality or district exists, the
board may obtain an attorney to represent the board in any action described in this
section at the board's expense.
