Text
(1)In a county
improvement district, the board must consist of the following members:
(a)One county commissioner of the county in which the district is located for
a term equal to the commissioner's tenure as county commissioner;
(b)The county treasurer for a term equal to the treasurer's tenure with the
county;
(c)Three residents of the county obligated to pay real or personal property
taxes who are appointed by the county commissioners for staggered terms
determined by the county commissioners; and
(d)Two fire department members for two-year terms.
(2)The treasurer of the fund shall obtain a bond paid from the fund in an
amount determined by the board.
