Text
No land or interest in land shall be
purchased for the purposes set forth in section 31-25-201 (1) until the governing
body adopts an ordinance authorizing such purchase which states the location and
legal description of the lands to be purchased, the price to be paid, and the manner
of payment or unless the proposed purchase of such lands is submitted upon
petition pursuant to section 31-25-203 and approved by the registered electors of
such city.
