Text
The governing body of each
municipality in this state shall adopt standards governing the use of safety glazing
materials for hazardous locations within its jurisdiction. No building permit shall be
issued for the construction, reconstruction, or alteration of any structure in such
municipality unless such construction, reconstruction, or alteration conforms to the
standards adopted pursuant to this section. The building inspection authority in
such municipality shall inspect all places to determine whether such places are in
compliance with the standards for the use of safety glazing materials.
