Text
Subject to the approval of the
Colorado commission on higher education, the Auraria board may exercise any and
all powers conferred by this article with respect to any land or facility not otherwise
a part of the Auraria center. Nothing in this section shall be construed to limit the
powers of governing boards of constituent institutions to acquire or dispose of
facilities not otherwise part of the Auraria center; however, any building or facility
acquired by a constituent institution in support of academic programs shall be
subject to the approval of the Auraria board, including the renewal of existing
leases.
