As used in this article 70, unless the context otherwise requires:

(1)Auraria board means the board of directors of the center created in section 23-70-102 (1).
(2)Center means the Auraria higher education center described in section 23-70-101 (1)(a).
(3)Complementary facility means a facility, located at or within the center, that may provide moneys for the center, provide occupational and educational opportunities consistent with the respective missions of the constituent institutions, or facilitate integration of the center with the adjacent Denver area. Complementary facility may include, but need not be limited to, an office, retail, restaurant, residential, or mixed-use facility.
(4)Constituent institutions means Metropolitan state university of Denver, the universit
