Text
The president of
the Colorado school of mines shall appoint a state geologist. The state geologist
shall be the director of the Colorado geological survey. The state geologist shall be
a professional geologist, as defined in section 23-41-208, and shall have
professional, managerial, supervisory, practical, and technical experience and
knowledge in the use of geology, earth sciences, and natural resource planning and
management.
