The state school of mines, located at Golden
in the county of Jefferson, is declared to be a body corporate under the name of
Colorado school of mines; and, by that name, it may sue and be sued; may take
and hold real and personal property by gift, bequest, devise, or purchase for the
state; and may sell and dispose of the same when authorized so to do by law.
