The academic year may be
divided into such terms by the board of governors of the Colorado state university
system as in their judgment will best secure the objects for which the universities
governed by the board were founded. The board at any time may temporarily
suspend a university in case of fire, the prevalence of fatal diseases, or other
unforeseen calamity.
