As used in this part 10, unless the context otherwise requires:
(1)Board means the Colorado opportunity scholarship initiative advisory
board created in section 23-3.3-1004.
(1.5) Cost of attendance means the student's cost of attending an
institution of higher education that is determined by the institution of higher
education based on federal and commission policy, and includes tuition, fees, room,
board, books, supplies, transportation, and other allowable expenses.
(2)Department means the department of higher education created
pursuant to section 24-1-114, C.R.S.
(3)Director means the director of the initiative.
(4)Executive director means the executive director of the Colorado
commission on higher education.
(4.3) Expected family contribution means the amount of money
