Text
As used in this article, unless the context otherwise requires:
(1)Department means the department of education created and existing
pursuant to section 24-1-115, C.R.S.
(2)Program means the breakfast after the bell nutrition program created
in section 22-82.8-103.
(3)Public school means a public school or charter school as defined in
section 22-1-101 or an approved facility school as defined in section 22-2-402 (1).
(4)School breakfast program means the federal School Breakfast
Program created in 42 U.S.C. sec. 1773.
(5)School food authority means:
(a)A school district or the state charter school institute;
(b)A charter school collaborative formed pursuant to section 22-30.5-603;
(c)A board of cooperative services created pursuant to article 5 of this title
