Text

(1)Any school that chooses to participate in the grant program shall submit an application to the department as provided by rule of the state board. Prior to submitting a grant application to the department, an applying school shall submit to the board of education of the school district in which the school is located the items specified in paragraphs (a) to (d) of subsection (2) of this section. Within thirty days after receiving said items, the board of education shall provide to the school a written statement of support or opposition for the proposed schedule that shall include the reasons underlying such support or opposition.
(2)At a minimum, a grant application shall include the following information:
