(1)Beginning January 2028, and each January thereafter, the department of education
shall report, at a minimum, findings regarding the effectiveness of having
consolidated the postsecondary and workforce readiness programs that the
department administered into the funding streams created in this part 2 for the
purpose of building capacity to implement and expand access to valuable
postsecondary and workforce readiness programs for students to the education
committees of the senate and the house of representatives, or their successor
committees, as part of the SMART Act presentation required pursuant to part 2 of
article 7 of title 2.
(2)On or before November 1, 2029, the department of education shall report,
at a minimum, findings regarding the effectiveness of having consoli
