Text
(1)There is hereby created in the
office of the county treasurer of each county a continuing fund, to be known as the
county public school fund, into which shall be paid the proceeds of all county
school moneys.
(2)Each district in the county shall be entitled to receive distribution during
a budget year of moneys in the county public school fund in the proportion that its
funded pupil count in the county is to the aggregate of the funded pupil counts of
all districts in the county.
(3)The department of education shall determine the proportionate part of
the county public school fund to be paid during the budget year to each district in
the county and, on or before the first day of each budget year, shall certify such
