Text
(1)The state board of education shall
promulgate such rules and regulations as are necessary to implement this article,
pursuant to section 24-4-103, C.R.S. Such rules and regulations shall include, but
shall not be limited to, the following:
(a)Student eligibility criteria considering the special characteristics of the
student, the educational record of the student to the time of application, and, if the
student is enrolled in a public school program, the opportunities available to the
student within that setting;
(b)Criteria for eligible schools emphasizing experimental approaches such
as a career development curriculum and experiential education;
(c)Procedures for application by eligible schools and for selecting schools
to participate in the second chance program;
