§ 22-52-104 — Application - payment
(1)After July 1, 1986, and each school
year thereafter, an eligible student may apply to the school board of his school
district of residence to participate in the second chance program. Application and
acceptance procedures shall be governed by rules and regulations promulgated by
the state board of education. The school district of residence shall process an
eligible student's application, assist the student in enrolling in the eligible school,
counsel the students and parents of students in the second chance program
concerning the availability of services the child or family may need, and monitor the
performance and progress of each student in the second chance program.
(2)(a) The school district of residence of a student enrolled in the second
chance program shall count the
