§ 22-52-101 — Legislative declaration
The general assembly hereby declares
that the problem of children who do not succeed in the educational system is of
grave concern. It is the intent of the general assembly that this article give these
children a second chance by providing a variety of educational opportunities for
such children, opportunities for educators to use their skills, talent, and creativity,
and increased parental involvement in the education process.
