Text
After
the public hearings required under section 22-30-115, the committee may make
such changes in the proposed plan of organization as it deems appropriate. The
committee shall formally approve the proposed plan of organization within sixty
days after the last such public hearing. Within ten days after such approval, the
committee shall forward to the commissioner a copy of the approved proposed plan
of organization, with a map showing the proposed boundaries of each school
district affected by the proposed plan of organization. The commissioner shall
either approve the proposed plan of organization as submitted by the committee or
return the proposed plan of organization to the committee with suggested
modifications or amendments. The commissioner and the committee shall work
