Text
(1)An administrative unit may conduct
special education programs as prescribed in this part 1 for any length of time;
except that the administrative unit must meet the minimum length of time as
established by law for school districts.
(2)Each administrative unit, state-operated program, and approved facility
school shall provide extended school year services to a child with a disability only if
the child's IEP team determines that extended school year services are necessary
to provide the child with a free appropriate public education.
