§ 16-16-102 — Definitions
As used in this article, unless the context otherwise requires:
(1)Executive director means the executive director of the department of
corrections.
(2)Facility means any residential community treatment center, honor farm,
preparole release center, or other correctional facility.
(3)Immediate family means a spouse, child (including stepchild, adopted
child, or child as to whom the prisoner, though not a natural parent, has acted in the
place of a parent), parent (including a person who, though not a natural parent, has
acted in the place of a parent), brother, or sister.
(4)and (5) Repealed.
(6)Warden means the chief correctional officer at a correctional facility.
