Text
(1)Any two or
more contiguous judicial districts may, by the election of the district judges or a
majority of the judges of each district, combine in the formation of an interdistrict
probation department; except that such formation shall be approved by the chief
justice of the supreme court.
(2)This department, if created, shall have an administrative head who shall
be appointed by the judges or the majority of the judges of the districts which
comprise the interdistrict probation department, subject to section 13-3-105, C.R.S.,
and such administrative head shall be the chief probation officer of the department.
