Text
(1)Every applicant for a
certification by examination shall:
(a)(I) Have successfully completed a physical therapist assistant program
accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education or
any comparable organization as determined by the board; or
(II)Qualify to take the physical therapy examination established under
section 12-285-110;
(b)Pass a written examination that is:
(I)Approved by the board; and
(II)A national examination accredited by a nationally recognized accrediting
agency;
(c)Submit an application in the form and manner designated by the director;
and
(d)Pay a fee in an amount determined by the director.
(2)The board may refuse to permit an applicant to take the examination if
