Effective June 1, 2012, except as
otherwise provided by this part 2, a person who practices as a physical therapist
assistant or who represents himself or herself as being able to practice as a
physical therapist assistant in this state must possess a valid certification issued by
the board under this part 2 and rules adopted under this part 2.
