As used in this part 4, unless the context otherwise requires:

(1)Controlled substance means any schedule II, III, IV, or V drug as listed in sections 18-18-204, 18-18-205, 18-18-206, and 18-18-207.
(2)Repealed. (2.3) Hospital means a hospital licensed or certified pursuant to section 25-1.5-103. (2.5) Medical director means a medical director or nurse medical director of a medical practice or hospital in this state who is a prescriber as defined in section 12-30-111 (4).
(3)Prescription drug outlet or pharmacy means:
(a)Any resident or nonresident pharmacy outlet registered or licensed pursuant to this article 280 where prescriptions are compounded and dispensed;
(b)Any federally owned and operated pharmacy registered with the federal drug enforcement administration; an
