Text
(1)The board may
appoint temporary advisory committees, including temporary professional review
committees, to assist in the performance of its duties with respect to individual
investigations. Each temporary advisory committee shall consist of at least three
licensees who have expertise in the area under review. Members of temporary
advisory committees shall receive no compensation for their services but shall be
reimbursed for the actual and necessary expenses incurred in the performance of
their duties.
(2)If a professional review committee is established pursuant to subsection
(1)of this section to investigate the quality of care being given by a person licensed
pursuant to this article 265, the committee shall include in its membership at least
