§ 12-245-501 — Definitions
As used in this part 5, unless the context otherwise requires:
(1)Approved school means any university or other institution of higher
education offering a full-time graduate course of study in marriage and family
therapy accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family
Therapy Education, a nationally recognized accrediting agency as determined by
the board, or a substantially equivalent program approved by the board.
(2)Board means the state board of marriage and family therapist
examiners created in section 12-245-502.
(2.5) Clinical supervision means:
(a)The evaluation and modification or approval by a supervisor of the clinical
practice of the person being supervised; and
(b)A source of knowledge, expertise, and more advanced skills made
