(1)In addition
to satisfying the requirements of section 12-135-501 (3), to be qualified to obtain an
embalmer license, the applicant must:
(a)Have graduated from an accredited mortuary science school;
(b)Have successfully passed the science section of the national board
examination administered by the International Conference of Funeral Service
Examining Boards or by a successor organization that is approved by the director;
and
(c)Have received workplace learning experience, as defined by the director
in rule, of one year or longer that may be received concurrently while attending
mortuary science school.
