(1)A license
issued under this part 5 is subject to the renewal, expiration, reinstatement, and
delinquency fee provisions specified in section 12-20-202 (1) and (2).
(2)(a) To renew a license issued under this part 5, a licensee must, in
accordance with the director's rules, successfully complete at least six hours of
continuing education, including:
(I)One hour covering the law applicable to the type of license held by the
applicant for renewal;
(II)One hour covering applicable ethics; and
(III)One hour covering public health requirements, such as universal
precautions.
(b)(I) The director shall promulgate rules governing continuing education.
The rules must address:
(A)The basic requirements for continuing education;
