(1)As established pursuant to section 12-20-105, inspection fees shall be charged by the board and shall be set and categorized based upon the actual expense of inspecting each type of electrical installation.
(2)(a) The maximum fee, established annually, chargeable for electrical inspections by any city, town, county, city and county, or qualified state institution of higher education shall not be more than one hundred twenty dollars, as adjusted annually, starting January 1, 2021, based on the annual percentage change in the United States department of labor's bureau of labor statistics consumer price index for Denver-Aurora-Lakewood for all items paid by all urban consumers, or its applicable predecessor or successor index.
