Text
(1)Each owner of a place of
business shall register with the director. The director shall maintain a registry of
the places of business. The director is authorized to establish and collect a fee that
is based on the director's actual costs associated with the maintenance of the
registry.
(2)If an applicant for registration has paid the required fee and complied
with the requirements of this article 105, the director shall issue the registration.
The registration must be conspicuously displayed in the place of business.
(3)It is unlawful for a place of business to offer barbering, cosmetology,
hairstyling, or esthetician or nail technician services in this state unless the place of
business is registered with the director.
